Reading Festival AGAIN this year!

Being year 13, I have a fair few things I should be doing right now, Such as:

- Revising

- Doing course work

- prepping myself for next year

But I don't give a damn about any of those things, because I'm GOING TO READING FESTIVAL AGAIN THIS YEAR

Reading made my 2012. I don't even care about the horrendous break up with my Ex-Girlfriend or the fact that I had to work Christmas day. Reading festival made me happy no matter what.

A lot of people are gonna think I'm high right now. (Well, the few people that actually read this blog.) But I'm really not, I'm just so excited!

Yeahyeahyeahyeahyeah, this has nothing to do with Tech but Oh well, makes me happy :3

Sylenth1: my favourite VST

sylenth1. Now i know if any music producers look at this, they'll probably disagree. but then again, most of them dont make distorted or 'wobble' basses. This plug in is pretty good if you want to make dubstep, the interface is pretty easy to use if you know how to make the LFO work. also, you can get some pretty heavy sounds if you know exactly where to tweak.
A drawback of this plug in is that it's about $120 dollars,  but I'm sure people can find ways around it ( I didnt just say that) And to be honest, you get what your money's worth.
also, there's a record and write function on the plug in itself. the write function lets you mess around with any of the buttons or knobs on Sylenth and they will be remembered and put into the next bar that Sylenth is being used on ( Perfect for dubstep)
You can also strip down the sound or synth that you've put in to be edited, this means that you can just get the bare sound and nothing else, which makes it easier to edit and keep track of.
Overall, i'd say that this is a worthy buy. it may not come with any presets, but you can find them pretty easily and find a way around paying for them if you need to, although i recommend paying so that you have less chance of anything going wrong with the actual plug in (or getting virus's on your computer) so if you have a DAW, then buy it.
